Bill Kinnon's post which I bookmarked on my newly-created Diigo group will be the topic of discussion at next Friday's lunch at a venue that I realize that I haveN'T selected YET!

Originally, I thought that I would not be able to make it to lunch myself, BUT I now find that I can make it! Not only am I glad because I can join you, but because I "discovered" Bill Kinnon this morning when I stumbled upon his posting which I feel is a bit "hard" on the church. However, it is a great launching pad for a discussion that can include the role of social media in the church. As a result of a number of acquaintances that I have made (largely through Neil Cox's efforts) recently, I have become increasingly fascinated by the potential of social media in building community in the church.
